Pink Noise Winery

Every wine a frequency. Every bottle a moment.

We make natural wine in steep Mosel slopes for people who understand that the best things don't need to get louder, but deeper.

About Us

Pink Noise contains all audible frequencies. Imperfectly perfect. Balanced. Calm. That is how we imagine wine – not loud, not pleasing, but in connection with the place where it originates.

Winningen. Steep slopes. Slate. Our vineyard was planted in 1971 – old enough to make its own decisions. The yield is low. Max. 500 bottles per year. Neither it nor we can manage more.

We ferment spontaneously. No cultured yeasts, no fining, unfiltered, minimally sulfurized. Not because it sounds romantic, but because it is logical to us.

Our Vineyard

Our wine grows on 0.2 hectares in Winninger Hamm – vines from 1971, spread across three terraces with their own character. An old lady: demanding, but extremely charming.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is natural wine?

Natural wine is made without additives. We ferment spontaneously with wild yeasts, don't filter, and use minimal sulfites. The wine tastes of its origin – the vineyard, not cellar techniques.

Where can I buy Pink Noise wines?

Our wines are available directly through our contact page. With only 500 bottles of annual production, they are exclusive and limited.

Why are the vines from 1971 so special?

Old vines have deep roots that have grown through decades of rock. They produce fewer grapes, but each has more concentration, structure, and minerality.

What does "Winninger Hamm" mean?

Winninger Hamm is a famous steep slope on the Mosel. The name "Hamm" comes from the Latin "hamus" (hook) – describing the hook-shaped bend in the Mosel river. The site is known for its slate soils.

Are Pink Noise wines organically certified?

We work according to natural principles: hand-picked, spontaneously fermented, unfiltered. Our small production makes formal certification impractical, but our methods meet organic standards.
